Ella Langley has earned her sixth No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. “Loving Life Again” rose one place to the top of the chart dated October 31, Billboard reported, in coverage carried on Sunday by Townsquare Media stations. The song drew 32.4 million radio audience impressions in the October 16–22 tracking week, up 7 percent, according to Luminate data published by Billboard.
The No. 1 gives Langley six chart-toppers in 99 weeks, the fastest run from a first No. 1 to a sixth by a female artist or a female-fronted act in the chart’s 36-year history, Billboard reported. The count starts with “You Look Like You Love Me,” her duet with Riley Green, which reached No. 1 in December 2024. The previous fastest by a woman or an act with a woman vocalist was Lady A, at 125 weeks, and the quickest solo woman before Langley, Carrie Underwood, took more than 127 weeks, according to Billboard.
Among all acts, only two reached six No. 1s faster than Langley: Alan Jackson, in 94 weeks, and Jelly Roll, in 96 weeks, Billboard reported. Langley’s 99 weeks place her third on that all-acts list, behind Jackson and Jelly Roll and ahead of every other artist in the chart’s 36 years, according to the figures Billboard published.
“Loving Life Again” is the fourth Country Airplay No. 1 from Langley’s album Dandelion, Billboard reported. It joins “Choosin’ Texas,” “Be Her” and “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” her duet with Morgan Wallen. Four No. 1s from one album ties the four Country Airplay chart-toppers produced by Shania Twain’s The Woman in Me, Billboard reported via the Townsquare stations.
The album has a chart record of its own. Dandelion has spent 21 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, Billboard reported. Parade, carrying the same Billboard figures, identified Dandelion as Langley’s second album; it was released on April 10, and its run at the top of Top Country Albums began after that April debut.
Billboard reported that Langley co-wrote “Loving Life Again” with ERNEST and Devin Dawson in 2025, after taking two weeks away from touring to reconnect with her family. The title came from her answer when ERNEST asked how she was feeling. Parade reported that the song followed a stretch in 2025 in which Langley struggled with her mental health and canceled two weeks of shows. “My imposter syndrome kicked in. My life was moving faster than ever,” she said in a news release quoted by Parade.
The figures Billboard published describe the full record: a sixth Country Airplay No. 1, reached in 99 weeks; a fourth No. 1 single from Dandelion, tying the album mark associated with Twain’s The Woman in Me; 32.4 million audience impressions in the song’s No. 1 week, up 7 percent; and 21 weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums for the album itself.
