Sofía Vergara and Dan Reynolds Photographed Holding Hands at Beverly Hills Dinner

Sofía Vergara and Dan Reynolds were photographed holding hands during a late-night dinner at Cipriani in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, October 24, in photos and video obtained by TMZ. Vergara is 54 and Reynolds, the frontman of Imagine Dragons, is 39. TMZ published the pictures on Sunday, Page Six published its own account of the same dinner, and Just Jared also carried the story on Sunday. Neither Vergara nor Reynolds has commented on the reports, and neither has confirmed any relationship.

TMZ, which obtained the photos and video exclusively, reported that the two were holding hands throughout their late-night meal at the Beverly Hills restaurant, and described the dinner as a cozy one. In TMZ’s account, the hand-holding was continuous: the outlet reported that Vergara and Reynolds “can be seen holding hands throughout their late-night meal last night at Beverly Hills’ Cipriani,” and it published the images to support that description.

Page Six’s version of the same dinner was narrower. Page Six reported that “in the pics, Reynolds held on to Vergara’s right hand from across the table at one point, as she flashed a big smile at him.” Page Six also reported that Vergara appeared animated in video of the dinner, laughing during the meal, and that she wore a gray sleeveless top with her hair down. The two published accounts therefore differ on how much hand-holding the photos show — throughout the meal, in TMZ’s telling, or at one point across the table, in Page Six’s. Both outlets were working from the same set of pictures, which TMZ obtained.

The two were not alone at the table. Page Six reported that they were joined by Anastasia Soare, the founder of the cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills, and by an unidentified male friend, who was seated next to Reynolds. TMZ likewise reported that the outing included a pair of friends, including Soare. According to both outlets, Vergara and Reynolds left the restaurant through a back door at about 12:30 a.m.

The dinner comes weeks after a change in Reynolds’ reported personal life. People reported earlier this month that Reynolds and the actress Minka Kelly had split after four years together; Just Jared reported that the news broke on October 7, that a source told People the breakup had happened recently, and that no reason for the split was given. Page Six reported that Reynolds was then seen with the model and DJ Chantel Jeffries at Miley Cyrus’ Hollywood Bowl performance on October 18. Just Jared, which also reported the Hollywood Bowl outing, noted that the two arrived at the venue together and that there was no confirmation that the outing was romantic.

Vergara’s former marriage has also been in the news this month. Her ex-husband, the actor Joe Manganiello, has published a memoir, Bloodlines, in which he makes claims about their marriage, including, as TMZ reported, that Vergara criticized his autoimmune disease. TMZ reported that Vergara was not given an advance copy of the book before it was published, and that she later posted cryptically about narcissism. Vergara and Manganiello announced their separation in 2023 after seven years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2024, as Just Jared recounted in its report on the dinner.

As of Sunday night, the public record of the Beverly Hills dinner consists of the photos and video TMZ obtained and the accounts built on them. Page Six reported no response from representatives for either Vergara or Reynolds to its requests for comment, and neither of the two has said anything publicly about the other. What the reports establish is narrower than a confirmed relationship: two people were photographed at a dinner with friends, holding hands at least once across the table, and leaving through a back door at about 12:30 a.m.
